Road Trip to Cincy

Yes, we made the one-thousand-eight-hundred-sixty-mile trek from Surprise, AZ to Mason, OH...by car. You can call us crazy because that, in fact, was what we were. It was quite an experience to say the least. Our kids were surprisingly well behaved, and, though our collective patience was tested, our resolve pushed to the limits, we learned we could do anything we put our minds to, even making some memories along the way.
By the first night (Albuquerque), I couldn't see straight. Clearly.
And, this guy, couldn't keep his eyes open.

The second day we drove straight through Texas (pics above) and stayed the night in Oklahoma City (pics below).

The above picture captures the night in Oklahoma well. Blurry. We were in such a hurry to get out of there, we left extremely early and made some pretty good time to St. Louis. There was quite a bit of traffic, the freeway system was super confusing, and Siri wasn't helping the situation, so this was the best I could do.
We called it a day and spent the afternoon just outside of St. Louis where we had a sit down meal and even swam at our hotel. We made one of those memories I was talking about. Now let us never speak of it again.
We woke the next morning and drove the 5 short hours to our new home. Phew, so glad we made it!
