Fundraiser: Helping the Manthe Family

I've known Kamara Manthe since I was eleven. We went to the same schools, played on the same little league team, and played high school basketball together. And, more importantly, I'm lucky enough to get to call her one of my best friends. The most important thing you should know about Kam, is her amazing faith in God. He's the center of her world, always has been.
All my best girlfriends at my wedding reception (Kam is right next to me on the right [my left])

A while ago, her husband, Jason, started to have some health issues and began to have memory loss. You can hear Kamara tell his story here. More recently, he has been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's. Jason is already so far progressed that he requires 24 hour supervision, leaving Kam the sole provider for their family of six. My heart breaks for Jason, Kamara, and their four small children. What's to come in the next few months and years is uncertain, but one thing is not, and that is their faith. The Manthe family will rely on God, and His timing, just as they always have.

To help raise funds for the Manthe family I have decided to do a day of mini shoots! 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Manthe family.
This would be great for someone looking for a small session for family, engagements, maternity, or senior photos. Here are a few examples of images I've captured at Sahuaro.

...and, here's a quote I stole from Kam's sister, Ashley's, Facebook page. "She has done so much for the community; charity runs, laundry, and tutoring services for children at group homes, just to name a few, please take care of her back!"
